- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics, such as Python, R, Perl, or Java.
- Extensive experience with various bioinformatics tools and databases (e.g., BLAST, GATK, SAMtools, Ensembl, NCBI).
- Strong understanding of statistical principles and machine learning techniques relevant to biological data.
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for data analysis.
