Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the planning and implementation of program activities and events.
- Manage volunteer recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing support, fostering a positive volunteer experience.
- Assist in the development and execution of fundraising campaigns and donor communications.
- Maintain accurate program records, databases, and documentation.
- Provide administrative support to program managers and ensure efficient operational workflows.
- Facilitate communication between program staff, beneficiaries, volunteers, and external partners.
- Monitor program progress, identify potential challenges, and assist in developing solutions.
- Prepare reports on program activities, outcomes, and volunteer contributions.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Support the development of program materials and outreach resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, International Development, Non-profit Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in program coordination, volunteer management, or project support within the non-profit or charity sector.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of people.
- Proficiency in common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) and experience with CRM or database management tools.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
- Passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to social impact.
- Experience with event planning and coordination is a plus.
- Basic understanding of fundraising principles is beneficial.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively within a distributed team.
