This pivotal role focuses on optimizing oil and gas production processes, enhancing recovery rates, and ensuring efficient and safe operations from a remote location. The ideal candidate will possess a strong theoretical understanding of reservoir engineering principles, production optimization techniques, and relevant software applications. You will be responsible for analyzing production data, diagnosing operational issues, and developing innovative solutions to maximize hydrocarbon extraction. This is a fully remote position, requiring a dedicated home office with stable internet connectivity and exceptional virtual collaboration skills. You will work closely with field operations teams, geoscientists, and other engineering disciplines to achieve production targets. Key responsibilities include conducting performance reviews of wells and facilities, implementing artificial lift systems, managing injection and production wells, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The successful candidate will also be involved in production forecasting, economic evaluations, and recommending capital expenditure projects. We are looking for a proactive individual with a proven track record in the oil and gas industry who can contribute significant value through remote analysis and strategic recommendations for assets, potentially including those in the **Kakamega, Kakamega, KE** region, while working from anywhere. - Proficiency in production simulation and analysis software (e.g., PROSPER, GAP, Eclipse).
- Experience with artificial lift methods (ESPs, rod pumps, gas lift).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex projects in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with HSE regulations in the oil and gas industry.
