Our client is a leading engineering firm specializing in power systems, seeking an ambitious and motivated Remote Electrical Engineering Intern to join their innovative team. The intern will assist senior engineers with various aspects of electrical system design, analysis, and testing for power generation, transmission, and distribution projects. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. The ability to work independently, manage tasks effectively, and communicate clearly in a remote setting is critical. - Assisting in the design and analysis of electrical power systems, including schematics and layouts.
- Performing calculations related to power flow, short circuits, and load forecasting.
- Utilizing electrical engineering software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, MATLAB) for system modeling and simulation.
- Supporting the development of technical specifications and design documentation.
- Participating in testing and commissioning activities for electrical equipment.
- Researching and documenting relevant industry codes, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborating with senior engineers and other team members on project tasks.
- Contributing to the preparation of reports and presentations on engineering findings.
