This is a fully remote position, allowing you to make a significant impact on young lives from your home office. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to families, caregivers, and early childhood educators to foster optimal development in children from birth to age five. Your role will involve assessing children's developmental progress, identifying potential developmental delays or challenges, and developing individualized intervention plans.
You will conduct virtual consultations, workshops, and training sessions for parents and professionals, focusing on key areas such as cognitive, social-emotional, language, and motor development. This includes creating and adapting developmentally appropriate activities and resources. You will also collaborate closely with healthcare providers, therapists, and other specialists to ensure a comprehensive approach to child well-being. The ability to build trusting relationships with families, particularly those facing unique challenges, is essential. You will maintain accurate and confidential client records and contribute to program evaluation and research efforts. This role requires a deep understanding of child development theories, best practices in early intervention, and knowledge of relevant support services. Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills are paramount. The successful candidate will hold a Master's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience working directly with young children and their families.
