Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze performance data from ATC systems, including radar, communication, and navigation aids.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues impacting system efficiency and safety.
- Develop and implement monitoring tools and dashboards for real-time system performance tracking.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations for system upgrades and enhancements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new ATC technologies.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including operational procedures and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant aviation regulations and standards.
- Participate in system testing and validation activities.
- Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for ATC system modernization.
- Prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders, including technical teams and management.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in air traffic control systems analysis or a related aviation technology role.
- In-depth knowledge of ATC operations, radar principles, communication systems (e.g., VHF, CPDLC), and navigation aids (e.g., ILS, VOR).
- Proven experience with data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., statistical software, SQL, Python for data analysis).
- Strong understanding of aviation safety standards and regulations (e.g., ICAO, FAA, EASA).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment.
- Experience with simulation and modeling tools is a plus.
- Project management skills are an advantage.
