Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Principal Scientist specializing in Bioinformatics to join their cutting-edge, fully remote Research & Development team. - Minimum of 8-10 years of post-doctoral research experience in bioinformatics, with a focus on complex biological data analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing next-generation sequencing (NGS) data.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics (e.g., Python, R, Perl).
- Extensive experience with bioinformatics databases, tools, and software packages.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning applications in biology.
- Proven track record of scientific publications in high-impact journals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

This critical role involves leveraging advanced computational approaches to drive breakthroughs in biological research and development. The position is based conceptually in Kitale, Trans-Nzoia, KE , but is entirely remote, allowing leading bioinformatics experts to contribute their invaluable skills from anywhere.
