Our client is seeking a seasoned Principal Project Manager with extensive experience in the construction industry. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to oversee complex construction projects from start to finish without the need for physical office presence. You will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and completion of large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your role involves managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication. You will lead and motivate project teams, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes. Key duties include developing detailed project schedules, monitoring progress, conducting regular project reviews, and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in managing complex construction projects. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is mandatory. Proven success in delivering challenging construction projects, such as commercial buildings, infrastructure, or residential developments, is essential. Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills are critical. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and a deep understanding of construction methodologies are required. You must be highly organized, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple high-stakes projects concurrently in a demanding remote work environment, supporting key initiatives near Kitale, Trans-Nzoia, KE .
