A Master's degree in Economic Geology, Exploration Geosciences, or a related field is required. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mineral exploration and resource estimation, with a strong track record in identifying and advancing significant deposits, is essential. Proven expertise in geological modeling software and resource estimation techniques is mandatory. Experience across multiple commodities (e.g., gold, copper, base metals) is advantageous. Strong understanding of structural geology, ore deposit environments, and exploration geochemistry is required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are critical. This is a remote position, but the company has operational interests and projects in the **Kericho, Kericho, KE** region, requiring an understanding of geological contexts relevant to this area. The ability to work independently, manage complex data sets, and drive exploration success remotely is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the geological evaluation of prospective mining areas, identifying and prioritizing exploration targets.
- Design and manage exploration programs, including geological mapping, geochemical sampling, and geophysical surveys.
- Plan and supervise drilling operations (diamond drilling, RC drilling), ensuring geological data integrity and optimal sample recovery.
