Our client, a globally recognized manufacturing leader, is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Principal Industrial Engineer to focus on process optimization. This is a critical, fully remote role where you will leverage your extensive expertise to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality across our client's diverse operational landscape. You will be responsible for analyzing complex production systems, identifying bottlenecks, and developing data-driven solutions for process improvement. This includes applying Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control techniques. Your work will involve developing and implementing new operational strategies, redesigning workflows, and introducing advanced technologies to enhance productivity. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of industrial engineering principles, simulation modeling, and facility layout design. You should be adept at using specialized software for data analysis, process mapping, and performance tracking. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality assurance, and R&D, will be essential to ensure seamless implementation of your recommendations. You will mentor junior engineers, share best practices, and contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. A proven track record of successfully leading and implementing significant process improvement projects is mandatory. You must be highly self-motivated, capable of working independently and managing your time effectively in a remote setting. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for operational excellence and a commitment to driving measurable results. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field is required. Extensive experience (8+ years) in industrial engineering, with a focus on process optimization and lean manufacturing, is essential. Experience in statistical analysis and process simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) is highly desirable.
