Our client is a forward-thinking energy solutions provider seeking a highly skilled Principal Energy Systems Engineer to lead the design and optimization of renewable energy systems. This is a critical, fully remote role responsible for developing innovative solutions that integrate solar, wind, and other renewable sources into complex energy grids. - Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new renewable energy projects.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in renewable energy technology and industry trends.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in the design and engineering of renewable energy systems.
- In-depth knowledge of solar PV, wind energy, energy storage systems (batteries), and grid integration principles.
- Proficiency in energy modeling and simulation software (e.g., PVSyst, HOMER, ETAP).
- Strong understanding of power systems, electrical engineering fundamentals, and relevant industry codes and standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead technical efforts in a remote environment.
