Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of medium and low-voltage power distribution systems for various industrial and commercial applications.
- Perform detailed load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies using advanced simulation software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E).
- Develop single-line diagrams, schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams for power distribution equipment.
- Specify and select electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, UPS systems, and generators.
- Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IEEE, IEC, KPLC standards).
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new electrical installations and upgrades.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical power system design and engineering, with a significant focus on distribution systems.
- Extensive experience with power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, CYME).
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
- Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects and mentor junior engineers.
- Strong understanding of power system protection and control schemes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage remote collaboration.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
