- Conduct technical reviews and audits of designs prepared by other engineers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical system issues during design, construction, and operation.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in electrical power systems engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems. A Master's degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical power systems engineering, with a strong focus on design and analysis.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Expert proficiency in power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, SKM PowerTools).
- In-depth knowledge of power system protection, grounding, and fault analysis.
- Experience with renewable energy integration, microgrids, or industrial power systems is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
