This is a unique fully remote position, allowing you to manage and optimize sanitation protocols and teams from anywhere. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing comprehensive sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and driving continuous improvement in cleaning efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial cleaning best practices, inventory management for cleaning supplies, and the ability to train and manage remote teams.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning and sanitation industry. Proven experience in developing and implementing sanitation programs is required. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for managing remote teams effectively. A background in public health, environmental services, or a related field is advantageous. Familiarity with various cleaning chemicals, equipment, and their safe handling is crucial. This is a fully remote role, but it is connected to our operational needs in Ruiru, Kiambu, KE .
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve sanitation policies and procedures across various sites.
- Oversee remote teams of cleaning staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Conduct virtual inspections and audits to ensure adherence to sanitation standards and regulatory compliance.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effectiveness.
