Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Process Engineer to join their innovative manufacturing division, operating on a fully remote basis. This role is critical in optimizing and streamlining production processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing operations, lean principles, and statistical process control. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing process improvements, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve manufacturing excellence. This is a remote-first position, requiring strong autonomy and excellent communication skills.

- Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to ensure smooth product scale-up and implementation of new technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed process changes and capital investments.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Stay updated on the latest manufacturing technologies and industry trends, recommending their adoption where beneficial.
- Manage project timelines and resources effectively for process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred), and process optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis software.
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, and quality control systems.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and CAD tools is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, essential for a remote team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
