Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of advanced thermal management systems for industrial machinery.
  • Conduct detailed thermal analysis using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to predict performance and identify potential issues.
  • Design and specify components such as heat exchangers, fans, pumps, radiators, and insulation materials.
  • Develop system requirements, technical specifications, and design documentation for thermal systems.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to ensure seamless integration of thermal solutions.
  • Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation of thermal systems, interpreting results and making design adjustments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex thermal-related issues in existing and new product designs.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in thermal engineering principles and best practices.
  • Stay current with advancements in thermal science, cooling technologies, and relevant industry standards.
  • Manage project timelines and resources for thermal system development initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermodynamics or Heat Transfer.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with a significant focus on thermal system design.
  • Extensive experience with CFD software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, Star-CCM+) and FEA software for thermal analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of heat transfer principles, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.
  • Proven ability to design and analyze complex thermal systems for industrial applications.
  • Experience with material selection for thermal applications and understanding of manufacturing processes.
