The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, with a strong specialization in renewable energy, particularly geothermal systems. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the energy sector, with at least 5 years focused on geothermal power generation projects, is required. Demonstrated experience in project leadership, contract management, and risk assessment is crucial. Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and power plant operations is essential. Familiarity with relevant software for simulation and design (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD) is a plus.
