Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and interpretation of geotechnical investigations, including site investigations, laboratory testing, and data analysis.
- Provide expert geotechnical advice for foundation design, slope stability analysis, earthworks, and ground improvement strategies.
- Oversee the preparation of high-quality geotechnical reports, specifications, and design documents.
- Manage project teams, providing technical direction and mentorship to geotechnical engineers and technicians remotely.
- Liaise effectively with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop and implement robust quality assurance and quality control procedures for geotechnical projects.
- Conduct peer reviews of geotechnical designs and reports prepared by team members.
- Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and proposals.
- Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and relevant codes and standards in geotechnical engineering.
- Utilize advanced geotechnical software for modeling and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) designation is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering, with proven leadership capabilities.
- Extensive experience in managing complex geotechnical projects from inception to completion.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, SLOPE/W, SEEP/W, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate remote teams.
- Experience with contract administration and risk management.
- Familiarity with international geotechnical standards and guidelines.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering; Master's degree is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering, with a significant portion focused on project leadership.
- Proven experience in the design and analysis of foundations, retaining walls, and slope stability.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GEO5, SLOPE/W) and advanced analytical techniques.
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and engineering geology.
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with remote teams effectively.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) designation is a strong asset.
