Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of geological modeling and resource/reserve estimation projects.
- Oversee the collection, validation, and interpretation of geological and assay data.
- Apply advanced geostatistical methods (e.g., kriging, simulation) to estimate mineral resources and reserves.
- Prepare comprehensive geological reports, including resource estimates compliant with relevant international codes (JORC, NI 43-101).
- Collaborate with mine engineers to integrate geological models into mine planning and design.
- Mentor and guide junior geologists and technical staff involved in modeling and estimation.
- Ensure data integrity and quality control throughout the exploration and estimation process.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and software for geological modeling and resource estimation.
- Communicate geological findings and resource estimates to senior management, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Contribute to exploration targeting and strategy based on geological understanding and data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Geology, Geostatistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mineral exploration and resource estimation.
- Demonstrated expertise in geostatistical analysis and resource modeling using industry-standard software (e.g., Leapfrog Geo, Vulcan, Surpac, Datamine).
- In-depth knowledge of relevant resource estimation codes (JORC, NI 43-101).
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information.
- Experience in diverse geological settings and commodity types is advantageous.
- Proficiency in data management and geological databases.

- Develop and refine 3D geological models based on drillhole, geophysical, and surface geological data.
- Perform high-quality resource estimations using various geostatistical methods (e.g., Ordinary Kriging, Inverse Distance Weighting).
- Ensure compliance with international codes such as JORC, NI 43-101, or SME.
- Collaborate with mining engineers and geostatisticians to define optimal mining plans based on resource models.
- Manage and validate geological databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports detailing resource estimates and exploration findings for internal and external stakeholders.

- Maintain a strong understanding of relevant mining technologies and software (e.g., Leapfrog, Vulcan, Micromine, ArcGIS).
- Actively participate in remote team meetings and contribute to a collaborative, distributed work environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Geology, Geostatistics, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in mineral exploration and resource estimation, preferably in gold, base metals, or industrial minerals.
- Demonstrated proficiency in geostatistical analysis and resource modeling software.
- Expertise in geological data management and quality control.
- Strong understanding of mining methods and their relationship to resource characterization.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a remote setting, managing multiple priorities.
- Membership in a professional geological society is highly desirable.
