Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing organization, is seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Employee Relations Specialist to join their fully remote Human Resources team. This pivotal role will involve managing and enhancing employee relations across the organization, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies. You will be responsible for addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, conducting investigations, and advising management on employee relations matters. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills. This remote position offers the flexibility to contribute your expertise from anywhere while playing a key role in shaping the employee experience.

- Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and policy violations.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on a wide range of employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
- Mediate workplace conflicts and facilitate resolutions to ensure a harmonious work environment.
- Advise leadership on labor law compliance and risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop and deliver training on employee relations topics, such as harassment prevention, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Stay current with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR business partners and legal counsel on complex employee relations cases.
- Promote a culture of fairness, respect, and open communication throughout the organization.
- Analyze employee relations data to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions.
- Manage employee exit processes and conduct stay interviews to foster retention.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Employee Relations, HR Generalist, or a related HR role.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting workplace investigations, mediation, and conflict resolution.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA).
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple complex cases effectively in a remote setting.
- Experience with HRIS systems and HR data analysis is a plus.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR) is highly desirable.
