Qualifications:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in bioinformatics analysis, with a focus on genomics.
- Demonstrated expertise in next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics (e.g., Python, R, Perl) and relevant libraries (e.g., Bioconductor, SciPy, NumPy).
- Experience with bioinformatics software and databases (e.g., Ensembl, UCSC Genome Browser, GATK).
- Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) environments and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Strong understanding of statistical genetics and population genetics principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
