Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition and management of aerospace system requirements.
- Develop and refine system architectures and integration plans.
- Oversee the design, analysis, and simulation of aerospace components and subsystems.
- Manage the integration of various aerospace systems (e.g., propulsion, avionics, structures, controls).
- Develop and execute verification and validation plans.
- Conduct system-level trade studies and performance analyses.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and risks throughout the development lifecycle.
- Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Ensure adherence to aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence within the team.
- Communicate technical progress and challenges to project management and stakeholders.
- Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace systems engineering, with significant experience in a lead role.
- Expertise in systems engineering methodologies (e.g., MBSE, V-model).
- Strong knowledge of aerospace principles and technologies (e.g., aerodynamics, flight dynamics, propulsion, avionics).
- Experience with modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead engineering teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Familiarity with aerospace certifications and standards (e.g., DO-178C, ARP4754).
