Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Services Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of their cleaning and sanitation team. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment across our facilities. The Supervisor will be responsible for scheduling and directing cleaning staff, ensuring adherence to hygiene standards, managing cleaning supplies and equipment, and performing regular inspections to guarantee quality service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of cleaning best practices and safety protocols. You will also be responsible for training new staff and addressing any performance issues. Responsibilities include: developing and implementing daily work schedules for janitorial staff, supervising and motivating the cleaning crew, conducting routine inspections of all areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness, managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering necessary supplies, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, training new employees on cleaning procedures and safety guidelines, addressing customer or tenant concerns related to cleanliness, and maintaining accurate records of staff performance and cleaning activities. A minimum of 3 years of experience in janitorial services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, is required. Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals is essential. Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary. This position requires a hands-on approach and will involve regular presence at our sites in and around Naivasha, Nakuru, KE .
