Our client, a leading real estate investment firm, is seeking a sharp and analytical Commercial Property Investment Analyst to join their growing team. This role offers a hybrid work model, combining remote flexibility with essential in-office collaboration. You will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across various commercial property sectors, including office, retail, industrial, and multi-family. Your primary focus will be on conducting thorough market research, financial modeling, and due diligence to support strategic decision-making.

- Analyze real estate market trends, economic indicators, and demographic data to identify attractive investment opportunities in the Embu, Embu, KE region and beyond.
- Develop comprehensive financial models to evaluate property acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects, including cash flow projections, IRR, NPV, and ROI analysis.
- Prepare detailed investment memorandums and presentations for the investment committee.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including property inspections, lease abstracting, environmental reviews, and zoning verification.
- Monitor the performance of existing portfolio assets and provide recommendations for asset management strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, developers, property owners, and other industry stakeholders.
- Assist in the negotiation of purchase agreements and other transaction-related documentation.
- Stay informed about changes in real estate law, zoning regulations, and tax implications.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and property management teams throughout the transaction process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in real estate investment analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking.
- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel are essential.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of real estate valuation methods and market analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in real estate databases and market research tools (e.g., CoStar, ARGUS Enterprise).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.
