This role focuses on providing early intervention services, guidance, and resources to families with young children who may have developmental delays or challenges. You will work closely with parents and caregivers, conducting developmental assessments, developing individualized intervention plans, and facilitating access to appropriate support services. Your expertise in early childhood development and your ability to build rapport with diverse families will be key to success. - Utilize technology effectively for remote service delivery, communication, and documentation.
- Master's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with young children (birth to age five) and their families in an early intervention or early childhood setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of child development milestones, developmental delays, and various disabilities.
- Experience with developmental assessment tools (e.g., Bayley Scales, Ages & Stages).
- Strong understanding of family-centered practices and early intervention principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse families from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Proficiency in using tele-health platforms and other relevant technologies for remote service delivery.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
- Certification or licensure as applicable to the field is highly desirable.
