- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, manufacturing, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Identify and implement innovative engineering solutions to enhance product performance, reduce costs, and improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in automotive mechanical engineering and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered during design, development, or testing phases.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in automotive mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or lead engineer role.
- Proven expertise in designing and developing complex automotive mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD/CAE software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS, ABAQUS).
- Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, materials, and testing methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, solve critical engineering challenges, and drive innovation.
- Knowledge of relevant automotive standards (e.g., ISO 26262, SAE standards) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a remote team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
