Key Responsibilities:

  • Create schematics, board layouts, and wiring harnesses for automotive applications.
  • Perform circuit analysis, simulations, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware.
  • Integrate electronic systems with other vehicle subsystems (e.g., powertrain, infotainment, safety systems).
  • Develop and execute hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and vehicle-level validation plans.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
  • Analyze test results and implement design modifications to meet performance, reliability, and cost targets.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, AEC-Q100).
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in automotive electronics, including electrification and autonomous driving.
  • Document designs, test procedures, and technical reports.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive electronics design and development.
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
  • Experience with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence).
