Qualifications:
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Science, or a related agricultural field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in agronomic research, crop management, or agricultural extension.
- Proven experience in designing and conducting field trials.
- Strong understanding of soil chemistry, plant physiology, and crop science.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SAS) and data management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage projects efficiently, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Experience with precision agriculture techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of local crops and agricultural practices relevant to Embu, Embu, KE is beneficial.
