Our client, a globally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to fostering sustainable community development, is seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Program Manager to lead its fully remote program initiatives. This crucial role will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and oversight of diverse projects aimed at improving social and economic well-being in underserved communities. You will work collaboratively with local partners, field staff, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of impactful programs. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in program management, community engagement, fundraising, and impact measurement, with a deep commitment to humanitarian causes. As a remote leader, you will leverage advanced collaboration tools to coordinate efforts and ensure effective communication across dispersed teams.

- Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and financial accountability.
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics, ensuring timely and successful program execution.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local government officials, partner organizations, and donors.
- Lead fundraising efforts, including proposal writing and donor engagement, to secure necessary resources for program sustainability.
- Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track program impact and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to program staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
- Represent the organization in relevant forums, conferences, and community meetings, advocating for program objectives.
- Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and best practices in program implementation and community engagement.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across different project sites and teams.
- Oversee programs targeting communities in the **Garissa, Garissa, KE** region and similar challenging environments.
- Master's degree in International Development, Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in program management within the non-profit or humanitarian sector, with a focus on community development.
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and evaluating successful development projects.
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising, grant writing, and donor relations.
- Strong understanding of community engagement strategies and participatory approaches.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate program goals and impact effectively.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting, managing diverse teams and stakeholders across geographical boundaries.
- Experience working in arid or semi-arid regions and understanding their unique development challenges is highly desirable.
