- Organize and execute fundraising events and campaigns, both virtual and in-person as needed.
- Create compelling fundraising materials, proposals, and appeals tailored to different donor segments.
- Track fundraising progress, analyze data, and provide regular reports on campaign performance and donor engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop integrated fundraising messaging and collateral.
- Mentor and manage junior fundraising staff or volunteers as the team grows.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in the non-profit fundraising sector.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and reporting requirements for fundraising activities.
- Develop and manage the annual fundraising budget.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Non-profit Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in fundraising, development, or revenue generation within the non-profit sector.
- Proven track record of successfully cultivating major gifts and securing grants from foundations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong storytelling and persuasive writing abilities.
- Proficiency in donor management software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge) and fundraising platforms.
- Experience in planning and executing successful fundraising campaigns and events.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to think strategically and implement tactical plans effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
