This high-impact role is responsible for shaping the creative vision and driving the execution of exceptional campaigns across various digital platforms. You will lead a team of talented designers, copywriters, and multimedia artists, translating client objectives into compelling and effective creative solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects, a deep understanding of branding, digital marketing trends, and a proven ability to inspire and mentor creative talent. This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for aesthetic excellence in a virtual collaborative environment.

- Develop and articulate a clear creative vision and strategy for client projects, aligning with marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
- Lead, inspire, and manage a remote team of creative professionals (graphic designers, copywriters, art directors, etc.).
- Oversee the creative process from concept development to final execution, ensuring high-quality output.
- Present creative concepts and strategies to clients, effectively communicating the rationale and value proposition.
- Collaborate closely with account management, strategy, and production teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Maintain a high standard of creative excellence across all client deliverables, including websites, social media campaigns, video content, and advertising.
- Stay abreast of emerging design trends, digital technologies, and best practices in the creative and advertising industries.
- Manage creative project timelines and resources, ensuring deadlines are met within budget.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages experimentation and pushes creative boundaries.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to team members to support their professional growth.
- Ensure brand consistency and messaging across all creative assets.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Fine Arts, or a related creative field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a creative role within an agency or in-house marketing department, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful digital marketing and branding campaigns.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire creative teams in a remote setting.
- Expertise in various design software and creative tools.
- Deep understanding of branding, typography, visual design principles, and user experience (UX).
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of marketing principles and digital media.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Experience working with clients in the arts and entertainment sector is highly desirable.
- This is a fully remote position, but candidates familiar with the cultural and artistic landscape of Nairobi, Nairobi, KE may bring valuable insights.
