You will be instrumental in driving operational excellence across diverse production lines, leveraging your expertise in process engineering principles and advanced manufacturing technologies. - Design and implement process control strategies, ensuring consistency and reliability in production.
- Lead cross-functional teams in process improvement projects, from concept development through implementation and validation.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for all manufacturing processes.
- Utilize advanced data analysis tools and statistical methods to monitor process performance and identify trends.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of new product introductions and process changes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap.
- Research and evaluate new manufacturing technologies and equipment to improve operational capabilities.
- Train and mentor junior process engineers and production staff on process methodologies and best practices.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in manufacturing process engineering, with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements that resulted in significant gains in efficiency, cost reduction, or quality improvement.
- In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with various manufacturing processes and technologies relevant to the client's industry.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software and process simulation tools.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams in a remote setting.
- Experience with CAD software and understanding of automation principles is a plus.
