About TicketMojo
TicketMojo is building the infrastructure for Kenya's event commerce. We're more than a ticketing platform — we're a full-service hub for creators, fans, venues, vendors, and brands. From ticketing and live streaming to merch, sponsorships, and vendor bookings, we're shaping the future of Africa's live events economy.
We're looking for a
Sales, Partnerships & Marketing Lead
to be the
commercial engine
of TicketMojo. This role will drive event onboarding, brand sponsorships, and marketing execution that fuels rapid growth.
Target:
Deliver
KES 500K net profit by Month 3
and
KES 1.5M+ cumulative revenue by Month 6
.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Partnerships
- Onboard 20+ events monthly.
- Secure high-value sponsorship deals (alcohol, telcos, FMCGs, lifestyle brands).
- Build & manage long-term organizer/venue relationships.
- Develop the Mojo Affiliates Network (commission-based promoters).
Marketing Leadership
- Lead digital marketing (Meta, Google, TikTok ads).
- Run campaigns across social media, influencers, and promo content.
- Grow TicketMojo's fan and organizer community through reels, testimonials & case studies.
- Drive brand visibility at events (merch, activations, digital presence).
Leadership & Growth
- Report directly to founders on pipeline, revenue & ROI.
- Build a small sales/marketing team as revenue scales.
- Work closely with operations & tech teams to ensure flawless delivery.
Requirements
- 4–6 years in
sales, partnerships, or marketing
(events, music, lifestyle, or
agency experience
). - Proven track record of
delivering KES 1M+ monthly revenue or sponsorship deals
. - Strong network in Kenya's
entertainment, events, and brand ecosystem
. - Hands-on experience with
digital marketing & ad management
. - Negotiation skills & ability to close deals.
- Startup/entrepreneurial mindset (able to wear many hats).
Success Metrics
- By Month 3:
KES 500K net profit after costs. - By Month 6:
KES 1.5M+ cumulative revenue. - 20+ events onboarded monthly.
- 3–5 major sponsorship deals closed.
- 5,000+ new engaged followers.
