Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accounting Expert to provide accurate information for financial reporting and have good understanding of processes within own area of responsibility. Works independently within established procedures and practices. The position will be based in Nairobi, Kenya.
What you will do
- Perform accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards
- Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements, prepare adhoc information: Independently take discussions with external/internal stakeholders.
- Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules.
- Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational areas managers
- Drive process improvements and functional KPIs
- Independently take discussions about standard issues with external/internal stakeholders

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician who will be based at our Nairobi Factory in Industrial area.
Roles And Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, panels, and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
Automation Systems Support
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and SCADA systems.
- Support the integration of sensors, actuators, and control systems.
- Assist in programming or modifying automation logic as needed.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical and automation systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to predict failures and reduce downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
Installation & Commissioning
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or automation systems.
- Read and interpret electrical and automation schematics and technical drawings.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and standards.
- Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for wiring diagrams, PLC programs, and system configurations.
- Report faults, repairs, and improvements to maintenance manager.
Collaboration
- Work closely with engineers, production teams, and other technicians.
- Provide technical support during production or process issues.
We believe you have
- Education level – Minimum Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Automation.
- Work experience – Minimum 5 years
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial automation.
- Familiarity with PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), VFDs (both AC&DC), and industrial networks.
- Knowledge of SAP CMMS.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Good communication and teamwork.

- Follow production safety rules
- Work according to existing procedures/ Standards
- Execute AM (Autonomous Maintenance) operations and CIL (Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication)
- Define anomalies and put tags
- Conduct basic/elementary quality tests
- Create OPls and SOPs

1.2 years hands on experience in a similar manufacturing environment
