As the Shuttle Driver you transport passengers safely and efficiently between designated locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and excellent interpersonal skills. Shuttle Drivers play a vital role in providing a positive first impression and ensuring passengers arrive on time and in comfort.
What does a typical day look like for the Shuttle
Driver?
You Will
- Safely operate a 15-passenger shuttle van along a designated route or schedule.
- Pick up and drop off passengers at specified locations such as airports, hotels, campuses, parking lots, or designated event venues.
- Assist passengers with luggage or mobility needs as required.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the shuttle vehicle.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and assisting passengers as needed.
- Maintain communication with dispatch or supervisor regarding schedule, delays, or incidents.
What qualifications do you look for?

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past (3) years.

So, what will the Operational and Laboratory Support Technician at Terrestris do?
As the
Operational and Laboratory Support Technician
you will assist with day-to-day laboratory operations that support national regulatory and public health initiatives. This position plays a critical role in ensuring laboratory readiness, compliance, and operational efficiency to support the FDA's mission of protecting public health.
What does a typical day look like for the Operational and Laboratory Support Technician?
You Will
- Prepare Media and Solution to include, pH adjustments, heating, sterilization, labeling, and QA of both in-house and commercially prepared media.
- Perform Sterilization to include, autoclaving media, containers, and waste materials.
- Perform Sample Preparation by using aseptic/non-aseptic techniques to prepare samples up to 50 lbs. using blenders, grinders, and various utensils.
- Perform Environmental Monitoring through air and surface monitoring using sterile media and hand-held instruments and record results in QA forms/logbooks.
- Assist in Dishwashing through the manual and automatic cleaning of labware and transferring items between use, sterilization, and storage.
- Perform Waste Collection and Disposal by collecting and safely disposing of used materials.
- Assist in Laboratory Custodial Support by maintaining cleanliness of lab areas and performing acid cleaning of specific lab items.
- Provide Laboratory Safety Support by conducting regular eyewash and shower station checks.
- Perform Temperature Mapping by placing sensors, collecting data, and evaluating equipment against SOP-established criteria.
- Conduct Equipment Function Verification by verifying operation of balances, pipettes, pH meters, etc.
- Perform DI Water System Checks by conducting QA checks, reading meters, checking light indicators, performing microbial/resistivity tests, and recording results.
- Assist in Inventory Support through the tracking, ordering, and logging laboratory supplies and equipment using electronic systems.
Provide Transition-In Support by supporting a smooth transition with:
Transition Plan
- Onboarding activities
- Familiarity with protocols
Identification of transition-related risks or issues
Provide Laboratory Administrative Support by:
Retrieving and delivering lab supplies
- Recordkeeping (e.g., time and attendance)
- Electronic scanning of records with OCR, ensuring image quality and correct sequencing
- Mailing and storing hardcopy records per FDA guidance
What qualifications do you look for?
You might be the medical professional we're looking for if you have:
- Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
- An Associate's degree in a scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Laboratory Technology, Public Health, or related field), or equivalent technical experience in a laboratory environment; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- A minimum of (2) years of relevant experience in laboratory operations or technical support.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures, quality systems (e.g., ISO 17025), and regulatory environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, electronic inventory systems, and basic data entry software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

General Orthopedic Surgeon
to provide on-site support to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Relocation assistance package is negotiable for non-local candidates.

So, what will the General Orthopedic Surgeon at Terrestris do?
As the General Orthopedic Surgeon you will diagnose and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including injuries and disorders of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles. The surgeon will provide both surgical and non-surgical care to patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
What does a typical day look like for the General Orthopedic Surgeon?
You Will
- Provide clinical orthopedic services and be present on time for any scheduled clinics/surgeries as documented by physical presence in the clinic or operating room at the scheduled start time.
- Be present in the operating suite for all orthopedic procedures.
- Conduct rounds on postoperative patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and on the wards.
- Be present on time for any scheduled clinics/surgeries start times as documented by physical presence in the clinic or OR at the scheduled start time.
- Provide notification of test results for patients receiving care in accordance with VHA Directive 1088, Communicating Test Results to Providers and Patients.
- Follow all established medication policies and procedures. No sample medications shall be provided to patients.
- Provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all orthopedic clinical or surgical patients.
- Be responsible for patient care documentation.
- Provide all Vascular Surgical Services by an attending or by residents with an appropriate level of on-site attending supervision as determined by VA guidelines (VHA Handbook Surgical services include pre-operative and post-operative evaluation and follow-up in addition to the operative session.
- Evaluate the patient and write or sign and addend the resident's admission or pre-procedural note describing the findings, diagnosis, plan for treatment and/or choice of specific procedure to be performed.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and meetings with committee participation as required by the facility Chief of Service, COS, or designee.
- Attend staff meetings as required by the facility Chief of Service, COS, or designee.
What qualifications do you look for?
You might be the medical professional we're looking for if you have:
- A current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- Board Certification / Board Eligibility by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS).
- Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or equivalency.
- Recent experience in arthroscopic procedures and orthopedic trauma/fracture care.
- The requisite credentials enabling the granting of privileges in accordance with the provisions of VHA Directive and VHA Directive
- Technical proficiency in the skills necessary to fulfill the position's requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.
- Verifiable evidence of the completion of all Continuing Medical Education (CME) / Certified Education Unit (CEU) Requirements.
Proof of:
A negative Tuberculosis Skin Test (TST) or interferon-gamma release assays (IGRA); a negative chest radiographic report for active tuberculosis shall be provided in cases of positive TST or IGRA results.
Immunity to Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR).
- Immunity to Varicella.
- (1) dose of Tdap vaccination.
- Annual Influenza vaccination unless it is contraindicated. If a contraindication to the vaccine exists, you will be required to wear a mask during the Influenza season.
- Completion and passing generic self-study blood-borne pathogen training.
- Hepatitis B vaccination series and hepatitis B surface antigen test results following the hepatitis B vaccination series
