About the role

The Sportsbook Operations Executive will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sportsbook, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all activities. This role involves handling VIP customer queries, assisting the live streaming team, and collaborating with various departments to optimize the sportsbook operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the iGaming industry, excellent analytical skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for VIP clients, providing personalized and efficient support.
• Address VIP inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain detailed records of VIP interactions and feedback.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operational processes.
• Collaborate with various departments to optimize sportsbook operations.
• Assist in maintaining and updating operational procedures.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to operational planning and strategy.
• Provide support in managing and resolving operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of sportsbook operations.

Requirements

• Education:
   Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Experience:
• Experience or strong familiarity with the iGaming industry is highly preferred, including knowledge of wagering and gaming products.
• Experience in customer service is a plus, especially in handling VIP or high-profile clients.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot live streaming issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

hat you'll be getting up to:

• Reconciliation of Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and Banks to internal operational reports

• Follow up on reconciling items and escalate as appropriate, including;

• Monetary losses –Deposit and Payout

• Procedural error – Deposit and Payout

• Agent/3rd Party Error – credit back, charges, duplicate processed

• Update relevant parties daily on identified trends e.g. unusual activity in deposits and/or withdrawals

• Review summary report of daily activity and agree to internal operation reports and escalate differences promptly
• Reporting deposits received in merchant and not credited yet in player's account.

• Daily report to be sent out to other teams/merchants for confirmation:

• Error confirmation

• Balance confirmation/discrepancies

• No Bank record for confirmation

• Prepare and update individual schedules for financial statement line items

• Maintain a proper repository for all supporting documentation
• Perform other tasks to support the team and business objectives as required

equirements:

• Experience with financial reconciliation: Proven ability to reconcile financial transactions between various sources, such as PSPs, banks, and internal reports.
• Attention to detail: Strong capability to identify and resolve discrepancies between financial reports and transactional data.
• Communication skills: Experience liaising with external and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and report trends.
• Analytical skills: Ability to analyse financial summaries and identify unusual trends or discrepancies for timely escalation.
• Report generation: Proven ability to prepare and analyse financial reports
• Documentation management: Experience maintaining organized and accessible documentation and managing access appropriately.
• Problem-solving skills: Demonstrated experience in escalating and resolving issues

We're looking for someone with strong front‐end skills who is familiar with a modern component framework like React or Vue, with experience in a back‐end framework like NextJS (preferably) and Express. When it comes to being successful at Sportserve, there's more to it than just being really good at the technical stuff. It's also your ability to be an awesome problem solver.

And here's the thing, we totally get that we can't all be experts in everything, right? So, it's all about having that thirst for knowledge and being passionate about learning. You know great architecture and design when you see it, so if something seems off, you won't rest until you've figured out what's going on.

We see ourselves as a cool group of people who love coming up with new ideas and making things happen. As long as you have a true passion for creating awesome stuff, you'll fit right in.

You'd spend most of your time developing new exciting projects, for example:

• Building a new front-facing and back-office application from scratch
• Taking part in new payment provider integrations
• Architecture and developing new features
• Prototyping and evaluating potential implementations
• Meeting business stakeholders to understand the problems they wish to address
• You would spend a lot of time programming, brainstorming on challenging problems and prototyping different ideas.
• You wouldn't be just churning through tickets in the backlog — you'd be helping to design entirely new products, figuring out what exactly we're even building and why.

While being a somewhat big company, we're split into small teams which means that even though we each have our areas of expertise, we all wear many hats. We're looking for a programmer, but you'd also help out with things like:

• Writing and improving the documentation for the products and tools we make
• Maintaining the ownership of our product, and assisting in troubleshooting production incidents
• Take part in OOH on-call application support rota

The Fraud & Risk Analyst is the first line of defence against fraudulent activity. They are responsible for investigating transactions, behaviour, and alerts by applying company procedures with precision and care. They detect suspicious patterns, escalate unusual cases, and ensure strong documentation for traceability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate assigned alerts and transactions following defined SOP's.
• Detect and report suspicious behaviour or irregularities in customer actions.
• Handle straightforward and moderately complex cases with minimal supervision.
• Flag and escalate unclear or high-risk cases to Senior Analysts or Team Leads.
• Document investigation steps and maintain high-quality audit trails.
• Contribute to identifying recurring fraud types or process inefficiencies.
• Suggest minor updates to SOP's or workflows based on observed patterns.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing and team huddles to align on fraud trends.

• Ability to work under pressure and make fast, accurate decisions.
