Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Director located in Nairobi County, Kenya, with some work from home acceptable. The Sales Director will be responsible for leading sales operations, developing and implementing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and overseeing the sales team. Day-to-day tasks include business development, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets. Additionally, the Sales Director will be responsible for reporting on sales metrics and ensuring the team meets organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in Sales, Sales Operations, and Business Development in Telco
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Experience in Telco Solution sales is mandatory
  • Team Management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in the technology services industry, specifically AI, is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

Responsibilities include program management, analyzing business processes for improvement, and ensuring alignment with company goals. The role requires collaboration with various departments to optimize efficiencies and drive organizational success.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Business Operations and Operations Management for Telco
  • Program Management and Analytical Skills
  • Finance acumen and experience with financial planning and analysis
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of AI technology and its application in Telecom and Banking is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, or related field
  • Prior experience in a managerial role is advantageous
