About the Role
We're looking for a Product Listing Specialist to help grow and maintain our online product catalog across multiple Shopify stores. This role combines attention to detail, aesthetic presentation, and modern AI-driven efficiency. You'll ensure every product — from handmade leather goods to seasonal apparel — is listed accurately, beautifully, and optimized for search and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Uploads: Add and update products in Shopify with accurate titles, variants, pricing, and tags.
- AI-Enhanced Optimization: Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or others) to improve descriptions, fix incomplete data, rewrite product copy, or bulk-correct inconsistencies in spreadsheets.
- Image Management: Upload and organize product images (front, back, side, close-up). Use AI tools to enhance, clean up, or verify the realism of images before publishing.
- Descriptions & SEO: Write and optimize SEO-rich product titles, descriptions, and meta tags using AI-assisted keyword research and brand tone.
- Data Accuracy: Cross-check product details (size, materials, colors) with source data and correct missing or mismatched information efficiently.
- Collections & Categorization: Assign products to the right collections, ensuring discoverability and consistency across the store.
- Quality Control: Regularly audit listings using AI or automation tools to identify errors, broken links, duplicates, or missing images.
- Collaboration: Work with marketing, design, and operations teams to ensure products are launch-ready and visually aligned with the brand.
- Reporting: Maintain a structured tracker (Google Sheets) of listings in progress, pending review, and published.
Requirements
- Experience with Shopify Admin or similar eCommerce platforms.
- Proficiency with AI tools to edit copy, clean data, generate text, and solve small workflow problems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work from structured product data or vendor sheets.
- Excellent written English and understanding of product SEO.
- Comfort with Google Sheets, Canva, and basic file management tools.
- Aesthetic eye for visual presentation and brand consistency.
- Ability to take ownership, meet deadlines, and continuously improve processes using AI.
Nice to Have
- Basic photo editing (e.g., removing backgrounds, brightness adjustment).
- Familiarity with ChatGPT or Gemini prompts for eCommerce workflow automation.
- Experience working with fashion, handmade, or leather product brands.

What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in graphic design, video editing, or content creation.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, or Figma.
- Comfortable using AI tools for content generation, editing, or brainstorming.
- A strong sense of composition, color, and storytelling.
- Knows how to turn one great piece of content into ten pieces that perform.
- Organized, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience and a strong portfolio are even better.

Core Responsibilities
Execution & Accountability
- Own day-to-day coordination across product listings, marketing, order fulfillment, and customer service.
- Ensure all recurring tasks (content uploads, email campaigns, promotions, etc.) are executed on schedule.
- Follow up with team members and vendors to ensure deadlines are met and standards maintained.
Content & Catalog Management
- Oversee the product upload pipeline (from photo QC, copywriting, tagging, and SEO).
- Audit listings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency (titles, variants, prices, images).
- Maintain quality standards across website visuals and content.
Process Optimization
- Build and maintain SOPs for recurring workflows (e.g., new product drops, influencer collaborations, email pushes).
- Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements.
- Track KPIs (e.g., listing turnaround time, content accuracy rate, campaign readiness).
Cross-Team Coordination
- Work closely with marketing, customer support, and product teams to align initiatives.
- Ensure smooth handoff between creative, technical, and operational workflows.
- Report weekly progress, blockers, and next steps.
Performance Monitoring
