Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Embedded Software Engineer based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for embedded software programming, software development, software design, debugging, and implementing embedded systems. Daily tasks will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing user needs, and ensuring the functionality and scalability of embedded systems.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Database Administrator (DBA) with DevOps expertise. The role is located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The DBA will manage and maintain databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability. Day-to-day tasks include database design, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and replication. This role will also involve collaborating with other teams to streamline operations and improve database-related processes.
What You'll Do:
· Design and maintain our database systems, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
· Develop and manage robust backup, recovery, and replication plans.
· Monitor and tune database performance, optimizing queries, indexes, and configurations.
· Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting languages like Bash or Python.
· Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for database changes and deployments.
· Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible to manage database infrastructure.
· Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams in a fast-paced environment.
What We're Looking For:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Tours and Travel Agent to join the Ticketsasa team. The role is dedicated to driving growth across both flight bookings and travel packages, ensuring every customer enjoys an exceptional and seamless travel experience. As the key point of contact, you will turn customers' dream trips into reality by understanding their needs, preferences, and budgets. Beyond bookings, you will actively promote, market, and upsell travel solutions, including flights, packages, and upgrades while identifying niche opportunities that fuel business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation & Prospecting
- Proactively identify and reach out to potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking events.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, nurturing relationships, and guiding prospects through the sales process from initial contact to conversion.
- Conduct thorough research to identify target markets, industry trends, and competitor offerings, leveraging insights to refine sales strategies and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Tailor pr
oduct recommendations and present compelling solutions that align with customers' interests, preferences, and budgetary considerations, effectively addressing objections and overcoming barriers to purchase.
- Actively promote and sell travel packages, flights, and special offers.
Customer Relationships and Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both flight and holiday package customers, serving as their trusted advisor for all travel needs.
- Proactively engage with clients to anticipate evolving preferences, identifying cross-selling (flights to holidays, holidays to flights) and upselling opportunities such as upgrades, add-ons, or premium services.
- Advise clients on travel requirements (visas, passports, insurance, health protocols) and provide timely updates on changes affecting both air travel and holiday destinations.
- Manage bookings end-to-end, liaising with airlines, hotels, resorts, and tour operators to ensure accurate itineraries, routing, and schedules.
- Provide seamless support for reservations, check-ins, payments, and post-booking assistance for both flights and packages.
- Draft Quotations and ensure timely, accurate billing for individual, group, and corporate travel (covering both ticketing and holiday packages).
Operational & Business Support
- Liaise with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure preferred rates and added value for both flights and holiday packages.
- Curate and design holiday packages (local and international) tailored to market demand, customer preferences, and seasonal opportunities.
- Upload, update, and maintain holiday packages and flight deals on the Ticketsasa website to ensure accurate, timely, and attractive offerings.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute compelling promotions for both air tickets and holiday packages
- Actively seek and utilize client feedback to enhance package content, pricing, and overall service delivery.

- Proven track record in sales generation (flights and packages).
