About The Role
The Cost Accountant is responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information related to inventory and fixed assets of the company by accurately recording, verifying, consolidating, and analyzing transactions. This is an important role within the accounting team and provides a great opportunity for professional growth. Note: This role is a hybrid role that requires working 4 days per week at the two production locations in Fresno and Dinuba.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and manage various inventory accounting activities, including but not limited to new SKU set up, BOM creation, month-end adjustments, review of cycle count variances, reconciliations, and audit support
- Directly oversee physical inventory counts at both production facilities
- Evaluate and ensure overall accuracy of cost of goods sold, review and analyze manufacturing variances to forecast and budget , including labor, material and purchase price variances
- Manage standard costs for all inventories from raw materials to finished goods
- Improve facility level internal controls related to inventory movements (from purchasing of raw materials to recording of order fulfillments)
- Enforce adherence to internal SOPs and policies related to inventory controls across all departments
- Support R&D department with costing information for new products
- Participate in the month end close process: perform and review journal entries, account reconciliations, consolidations, and allocations.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements, and variance analysis.
- Assist with Fixed Assets accounting, including CIP tracking, amortization & depreciation schedules, asset transfer and disposal.
- Assist with bank & external audits.
- Assist with various ad-hoc report requests, including but not limited to inventory variance, flux analysis, trend analysis reporting.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and efficient workflow.
- Provide support on special projects and analyses as required along with any other job-related activities as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 4+ years of hands-on Inventory Accounting experience in the following industries: manufacturing, CPG, retail, distribution, e-commerce
- Prior accounting experience in a multi-channel / multi-location environment is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel and NetSuite (preferred), or any other ERP.
- Solid understanding of GAAP.
- Proficient in English, both in verbal and written word.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills; detail oriented.
- Good business acumen with P&L and forecasting skills.

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will make a huge impact on our business. Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing strategies
- Working with the COO, create and execute marketing initiatives across multiple platforms (digital, in-person/events, at retail, etc.) to promote Three Trees to increase brand awareness and market share.
- Identify target audiences, set marketing objectives, and determine appropriate marketing strategies and tactics to reach these consumers.
- Collaborate with the Head of Growth to manage the marketing budget, monitoring and analyzing marketing metrics, sales data, and consumer feedback.
- Clearly communicate marketing plans to team members.
Branding
- Drive the development of updated brand guidelines, including logos, packaging, and brand voice; ensuring that all marketing materials, both online and offline, adhere to the company's brand guidelines and voice.
- Educate team members on brand guidelines as new products, platforms and positions are developed.
- Create and maintain consistency in messaging, visuals, and tone across all marketing materials and communication channels, including: sales collateral, point-of-sale materials, trade show exhibits and social media.
Product Development
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to conduct market research and identify consumer trends, preferences, and competitor activities that will guide the development of new products.
- Analyze data to identify market opportunities, consumer insights, and areas for improvement.
Product Launches
- Work with the COO to plan and execute the marketing plan for new product launches. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support the launch, informing all team members of upcoming and key activities.
Trade Marketing and Sales Support
- Work with Sales on programs targeting specific retail accounts, including in-store demos, providing market insights to Sales for selling Three Trees to retailers and distributors.
- Visit retailers to engage with and educate store employees, being a face for the Three Trees brand.
- Promotional planning assistance and submission to retail partners.
- Manage the Three Trees coupon program, coordinating the creative process and distributing coupons for optimal utilization.
Field Marketing
- Identify and implement field marketing events to introduce Three Trees to consumers.
- Plan and implement our participation in trade shows, industry events, and consumer exhibitions including booth/table design, staffing, promotional materials, and post-event evaluation.

- Identify opportunities for community involvement and sponsorships.
Digital Marketing

Qualifications

About The Role
As Pressed expands, consistent product execution is critical. This role ensures what's developed at HQ gets delivered on the line — batch after batch, bottle after bottle. We're hiring an R&D Manager to bridge benchtop formulation and plant-floor execution. Based in Fresno and Dinuba, this role is a hands-on extension of the LA-based R&D team. You'll replicate and troubleshoot formulations in real time, adjusting for natural ingredient variability while upholding Pressed's clean-label standards (no natural flavors, additives, or preservatives). Ideal candidates are strong sensory evaluators, quick problem-solvers, and effective communicators in fast-paced, bilingual (English/Spanish) environments.
Key Responsibilities Include
Product Execution & Scale-Up
- Execute and scale gold-standard formulas in pilot and production runs.
- Adjust processes for ingredient variability (e.g., citrus, herbs, roots, fruits).
- Collaborate with QA, Production, and Procurement for consistent batch outcomes.
- Lead on-floor troubleshooting, post-run reviews, and root cause analysis.

- Once all ingredients are ordered/scheduled, recipe gets moved from Ready to Order folder to Brew Deck folder
- Minimize freight costs by coordinating, streamlining, etc the needs among our 4 malt typical malt suppliers, 3 yeast suppliers, 2 fruit suppliers, 3 chemical/process aid suppliers and 5 hops suppliers. No shipping doc nor fork truck but we do use a Powered lift.
- Work within the confines and limited storage ability of what our facilities afford us.
- Manage storage capacity/inventory among our various locations (Neenah, Wauwatosa, Off-site warehousing, etc.)
- Maintain levels of commonly used brewing supplies
- Work with Head Brewer who sends order requests when supplies are getting low along with your inventory management process.
- Develop supplier relationships
- Build existing relationships to get the most value, best possible pricing, and troubleshooting/help when needed.
- Find new suppliers to source new ingredients or for better pricing. Keep head brewer and owner abreast of new products, trends from suppliers, etc.
- Manage Cost Model with Cost of Goods for all LTB products.
- Input costs for each product as ingredients are ordered or using saved data from current inventory.
- Review final updates on recipe once production is complete to insure initial cost is accurate
- Determine SKU pricing for taprooms based on costs and target gross margins set by owner. Compute gross margins for Head of Sales to determine distro/wholesale pricing.
- Contribute to new beer concept & name production planning
- Manage the "Funnel" process for products from idea phase to material procurement to production.
- Maintain 1 new release each week, occasionally 2 releases during peak demand season.
- Verify our concepts against other products/names sold in the markets we compete in to make sure we are being unique (Untappd, Google, etc.)

Objective

Essential Responsibilities
- Represents the breweries in a positive manner
- Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with key retailers in the assigned territory

- Provides consistent and clear communication for distributors around new product releases, pricing in market, inventory etc

Act as a representative of
Oakland United Beerworks
and meet with store buyers and bar and restaurant managers to sell draft kegs and cans of our product. We are looking for Sales Representatives throughout the San Francisco Bay area. You must be able to understand and communicate the subtle differences in beer types to our customer base. You will be in charge of booking your own accounts and expect compensation to be reflected by this commission-based position.
Job Requirements
We are looking for a talented road-based salesperson who is highly organized. Someone who can act independently and deliver the sales results we are looking for. Someone who understands the importance of meeting and exceeding a quota and is hungry for commissions and understands that working harder and smarter means higher pay.
- You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in the field selling beer.
- You must have experience working with Distribution Partners and demonstrate the ability to leverage your relationship with the Distributor's sales force.
- Cicerone certification is an absolute plus
- We require verifiable sales performance history from your past employment.
- You must also have the enthusiasm to work with your clients to promote the brand.
- Establishing tap takeovers and other events at client sites, whether On Premise or Off Premise, to help move products are keys to success and a high priority.
- Additionally, you will be expected to attend regional brewery shows, festivals and in-store demonstrations as needed, which can occasionally be on a weekend.
- You must have your own transportation, clean driving record and will be reimbursed for mileage.
- CRM familiarity: Either VIP-Karma or Lilypad, that must be updated daily to track customers and activity.
- You may be required to make some emergency deliveries to customers. This could include kegs and cases of beer.
Compensation
You will receive a base salary for your work, but we expect the bulk of your income to come from commissions. We offer a percentage of each sale back to you. Also, we are one of the few breweries to offer health, dental and vision insurance compensation to its employees. We have direct deposit. Again, all travel expenses will be reimbursed.
