Manager, Products and Solutions - Acceptance
Overview
Bring their deep knowledge of acceptance products, services or platform capabilities to a solution-selling environment.
Role
- Drive acceptance growth in the market that includes locations and turnover
- Understand the product strategy and grow traditional and low cost acceptance in the market
- Accountable for having a deep understanding of the acceptance product, service or platform
- Provide visibility to the CSCL and SA on latest acceptance product developments within their purview and communicate accurate solution knowledge to tackle client opportunities
- Proactively monitor and engage with customers to ensure customer success and benefit from Mastercard's products and solutions
Support CSC Value Proposition Development And Sale
- Provide the Solution Architects (SA) and the Customer Solution Center Lead (CSCL) with their solution expertise in crafting the value proposition
- Coordinate with the help of SA and CSCL, with other sales specialists in developing an end-to-end value proposition
- Provide their expertise and deep knowledge of product implementation and success with clients during solution selling process (upon the request of the CSCL or AM/BD)
Drive Localization, Market Enablement And Support Sales
- Enabling new capabilities in the market e.g. SRC, MDES, Contactless, QR etc. and ensuring market readiness
- Supporting AM's in their market to optimize what we have today e.g. providing expert advice/ guidance on acceptance products
- Work directly with client counterparts on non-complex, one solution focused opportunities when the AM needs their support
All About You
- Share information on latest customer needs and opportunities as well as relevant market intelligence with the product management teams to drive smart solutioning internally within MA
- Share best practices and knowledge with other SSs to improve solutioning of their product, service, or platform within client contexts

We are seeking a results-driven Product/Business Dev Manager to lead the growth of our processing product portfolio. The role combines deep product expertise with commercial acumen, to identify opportunities, shape go-to-market strategies and ensure Mastercard's processing solutions meet the evolving needs of customers and markets.
The Role
The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, expanding client relationships, and driving revenue through innovative payment and processing. The candidate will act as a subject-matter expert, engaging with financial institutions, fintechs, and corporate clients to deliver tailored solutions that meet their cross-border and multicurrency processing needs. The role requires the ability to collaborate cross functionally with product, technology, operations and business development teams.
All About You
Extensive experience in a processing / payments role
Proven experience in product management, business development or strategy within payments, processing or financial services
Skilled in understanding and building business cases, market analyses and go-to-market strategies
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to engage senior executives internally and externally
Passionate about innovation, financial inclusion and delivering exceptional products and services
Experience in creating and driving a sales pipeline of >50M
Experience in managing a full P&L

Principal, Services Business Development, East Africa Cluster Lead
The Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business Test & Learn experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services.
An exciting opportunity to work with some of Mastercard's most important global and regional clients having a presence in various markets across the East Africa Region, and working as a trusted and valued service partner within the Services team.
Role
- Generate and maintain Services revenue opportunities with strategically important regional accounts across East Africa
- Foster strong relationships with key client executives, as well as internally with key Mastercard stakeholders that tie directly to ROI, and are built on a foundation of trust and value creation
- Support the development of creative business solutions for complex business problems across the Services business, including insights, analytics, Test & Learn, loyalty, managed services and consulting services
- Managing sales pipeline, advancing early stage opportunities to approvals and signature, with continued engagement post sales, e.g., project delivery
- Proactively identify customer risk and opportunity signals; develop comprehensive strategies to combat and/or limit erosion
- Responsible for sales and gross revenue, including platform and recurring revenue optimization, working hand in glove with delivery capabilities on engagement quality and exploring opportunities for up-sell, add-on, cross-sell, etc.

- Working experience within strategy consulting. Preferrably with financial institutions, including payments
- Strategically focused and solution oriented with proven history of dedicated, high-energy, patient, and customer-centric behavior
- Leverage and synthesize data to analyze business challenges and opportunities
- Embrace a high performance culture and embody a "can-do" attitude
- Balance working autonomously and seeking direction when required within a complex environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills and an ability to establish credibility with C-level executives
