As part of a global group, we work creatively to develop bespoke insurance solutions for leading financial institutions, retailers and manufacturers both internationally and globally.
We are now looking for a credit control team leader to join our team on a permanent basis.
In this role will be responsible for the day to day running of the Specialty Credit Control Team across Ireland and UK. Including management of all cash receipts and cash payables on a monthly basis and supporting the credit control manager.
Essential Job Functions Include
- Engage with the IPP project team and assist with the implementation of new Credit Control system
- Manage the reporting of aged debt across AmTrust Specialty.
- Ensure adequate and appropriate resources (processes and people) are in place to manage the Credit Control Function across the Specialty business.
- To assess and communicate department priorities via regular team meetings
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in successfully leading a team, supporting them in all areas to improve output as well as challenge and motivate to succeed. Knowledge of credit control processes is key, having previously worked within the financial services or insurance sector would be beneficial but not a necessity.
This role will suit you if you possess strong leadership capabilities, a collaborative focused work ethic and strong verbal and written communication skills and if you have a desire to work in a fast paced environment for a truly global organisation.

Job Description
AmTrust is a global insurance provider offering risk-management solutions and business underwriting. Today AmTrust International underwrites over $2.5bn of gross written premiums and employs more than 1900 people in 14 countries.
We are now looking for a Senior Conduct Risk officer to join our team based in either London or Nottingham.
In this key role you will focus on driving the development and approach to internal control of regulatory and conduct risk by acting as an embedded independent challenger, advisor and partner to support the underwriting team on conduct risk and regulatory compliance.
Essential Role Functions Include But Are Not Limited To
- Supporting the implementation and embedding of the Conduct Risk Framework
- Advising and supporting the business functions on, oversight of risk controls and performance metrics, applicable regulatory conduct requirements & supporting business activities through compliance advice & expertise
- Reviewing Policy documentation, training materials, websites, or other material for conduct risk
- Ensure Consumer Duty principles are met across the business.
- Support the on-going operations of a Delegated Authority and Product Governance control framework.
Successful candidates must have a good working knowledge of conduct risk as well as knowledge of consumer duty, either via direct experience or experience within complaints or compliance and a background within the Insurance sector is essential.
We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail skills, be able to demonstrate good report writing skills, as well as knowledge of MS office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Successful applicants must be comfortable working to both scheduled and last-minute deadlines, be able to work autonomously, have confidence in your ability, thrive working in a collaborative business, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
