Linglong Tire is seeking a Sales Manager to spearhead ourgrowth across Eest Africa, focusing onexpanding our distribution network, driving revenue, and strengthening brand presence in this strategic market. Theideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the tire and aproven ability to navigate the region's complex business land scape.
Job Description:
- Market Expansion & Business Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate key markets; Identify, onboard, and manage high-potential distributors and dealers;
- Sales Performance & Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed annual sales targets for PCR, TBR, and OTR tires; Implement pricing strategies to enhance competitiveness while maintaining profitability; Monitor market trends and adjust tactics to counter competitors;
- Market Intelligence & Reporting: Analyze competitor activities, pricing, and product positioning; Provide feedback to HQ on product adaptation; Prepare monthly sales reports and forecasts;
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade orrelated field.
- Minimum 5 years in tire/automotive sales, with 3+ years' experience in Central or West African markets.
- Prior experience with multinational corporations required.
- Proven track record of managing distributors and achieving sales growth.
- Fluent in English and French, spoken and written.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis (Excel, Power Bl).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70% regional travel).
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
- Existing network in the tire/auto aftermarket is a strong advantage.
