RF Manager Crew Scheduling
Purpose
To deliver a safe and efficient crew scheduling service to drive Operational Integrity and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review crew roster procedures to comply with KCAA and CBA Requirements.
- Project crew requirements to meet the yearly Network Plan.
- Plan, develop and ensure fair and balanced economical crew roster patterns to achieve optimal crew utilization.
- Prepare, monitor, and control Divisional cost centre Budget and ensure cost control.
- Prepare and analyse periodic Performance Reports for Management decision.
- Motivate, control and direct team members to meet company growth targets.
- Ensure staffs are developed to sustain a motivated and efficient staff.
- Ensure all findings/non-conformities resulting from audits are corrected in the period stipulated by the Director Corporate Quality, Safety and Environment.
- Ensure implementation of safety, security, and emergency standards always.
- Accomplish routine monitoring of safety, security, and quality control activities to ensure ongoing conformity with all regulatory requirements, organization standards and local procedures.
- Ensure and maintain a healthy, safe and secure working environment in compliance with the relevant industry, regulatory and legislative requirements, company procedures, regulatory authorities and requirements of customer airlines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 7 years' experience, 1 of which should be as a Duty Manager Crew Scheduling.
- Instructional Techniques training
- Operational safety audit training
- Knowledge of flight planning solutions
- In-depth Knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations

This is a C- Suite position, reporting to the Group Managing Director & CEO, and central to shaping KQ's financial strategy, compliance, and stakeholder confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight of all financial management, including planning, reporting, treasury, and tax.
- Lead the formulation and execution of financial strategies that drive growth, profitability, and stakeholder value.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations while upholding world-class governance and reporting standards.
- Oversee corporate finance, investor relations, and engagement with key stakeholders including regulators, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Guide and develop the Finance team, ensuring capability, integrity, and excellence in delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or CA).
- Minimum 15 years' senior-level experience in finance or accounting, with proven leadership in corporate strategy and financial management.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting, corporate governance, and financial systems.
- Proven track record in leading finance functions across regional and/or global markets, including managing multi-currency environments and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience in the airline or transportation industry is an added advantage.

- A valid KCAA (Kenya Civil Aviation Authority) CPL/ ATPL, with
- Class one medical certificate,
- KCAA English Proficiency level 4 or above,
- Valid Instrument Rating,
- Multi Engine Rating,
- Performance Rating A,
- Gas Turbine Rating,
- High school education with an aggregate grade of C- (minus); and minimum of C- (minus) grade in Mathematics, English, Physics or a general sciences subject.
- Minimum 160 cm height requirement.
