Kenlife is Kenya's first garden restaurant that serves its own-produced foods. Our restaurants have been well known for offering scrumptious dishes to our clients since their inception. The multi-cuisine restaurant serves mouthwatering local dishes, which will rejuvenate your taste buds and make you visit over and over again.
We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced person (a resident in Kenya) to fill the position of a farm supervisor. Reporting to the MANAGER, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily farm operations, ensuring sustainable and efficient agricultural practices. This role involves supervising farm workers, managing crops, maintaining farm equipment, and ensuring compliance with organic and regenerative farming standards.

Location: Kenlife Centre, Mavueni, Kilifi County
Contract Duration: 24 months, subject to renewal

Main Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee all activities related to the variety of organic and regenerative vegetable and fruit cultivation, harvesting, and storage.
- Implement and maintain organic and regenerative farming best practices.
- Ensure efficient completion of tasks by supervising and coordinating farm labor.
- Monitor soil health, irrigation, and pest control using organic methods.
- Maintain farm records, including planting schedules, harvest yields, and input usage.
- Ensure farm equipment and tools are well-maintained and operational.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve farm productivity and sustainability.
- Collaborate with the administration on budgeting and procurement of farm supplies.
- Train farm staff on organic farming techniques and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with local agricultural regulations and organic certification standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate/Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in farm management, preferably in organic and regenerative farming, is required.
- Knowledge of organic farming techniques and sustainable agriculture.
- The candidate should possess strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
