SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are looking for a keen, dedicated and results-driven Retail Marketing Specialist to manage and develop Jotun's retail concept. The role will require implementing initiatives towards customers in line with regional priorities and direction, to support and enhance Jotun's brand and products presence in Kenya.
This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya and reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager (Decorative).
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain the Jotun Shop Concept standard according to the regional guidelines, by monitoring the implementation of new shops and evaluating existing shops in Kenya.
- Develop and maintain promotional activities by monitoring regional programs and planning exhibitions/events and seminars (for end users, interior designers, and fresh graduates) to increase sales, Jotun brand awareness, and footfall in our shop network.
- Manage and lead the Retail Development team by setting objectives and providing necessary coaching and guidance in order to support their development and achieve the function's targets.
- Coordinate with the Jotun Regional Retail Development team to develop and implement regional promotional programs and projects in Kenya.
- Develop and oversee all retail development training programs by monitoring and following up on the "Jotun Way," "Paint Academy," and "Introduction to Jotun" seminars in order to provide the best customer experience.
- Conduct regular market visits and lead market evaluation on successful implementation of Retail Programs in Kenya.

We are looking for a candidate with these Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is a requirement, MBA in Marketing is preferred.
- 4–6 years of experience in Marketing, with at least 2 years in retail-focused role.
- CIM Membership is essential.
- Have strong understanding of consumer marketing and retail dynamics in Kenya.
- Experience in developing and managing customer loyalty programs.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Jotun Kenya is looking for a dynamic and results- driven Logistics and Warehouse Assistant Manager to manage our Logistics and Warehouse operations.
In this pivotal role, you will lead and elevate our logistics and warehouse function by enhancing its developments based on Jotun's values and in accordance with local, regional, segment, and corporate objectives and guidelines. Your leadership will be key in ensuring achievement of overall objectives related to safety, profitability, competitiveness, customer satisfaction, service, and quality.
This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya and reports to the Logistics and Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Warehouse and Logistics team in line with Leadership Expectations and tools to develop, coach, and guide its members to ensure a workforce that is competent, engaged, and enabled to meet Jotun's current and future needs.
- Lead the Warehouse and Logistics team function by implementing and monitoring procedures and guidelines to ensure that Warehouse and Logistics activities are compliant with local laws and regulations, ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001, Jotun Operations System, and Jotun's HSEQ Management system.
- Responsible for implementing, monitoring and enforcing the HSEQ management system across the organization.
- Initiate, drive, and follow up continuous improvement activities by implementing the Jotun Operations System and follow up through agreed KPIs.
- Run efficient freight and warehouse tenders and research and suggest cost-effective shipping methods in cooperation with Purchasing.
- Set transportation operations guidelines, monitor delivery performance, review and approve transportation contracts, and advise on delivery improvements.
- Responsible for CSD (Customer Service Department), purchasing, and logistics teams to maintain the right stock levels, and arrange stock counting and activities to ensure correct inventory is displayed in the system.
- Manage warehouse operations like receiving and picking, quality control, and expiry date follow-up.
- Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing optimal layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair, and requisitions for replacement.

Qualifications:
- At a minimum, a bachelor's or master's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management/ Operations Management/ Business Administration.
- 5 to 7 years' experience in a Supply Chain/ Logistics and Warehouse role, and a minimum of four years of proven leadership experience in logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards and regulations in Kenya, and the ability to implement and monitor company-wide compliance programs.
- Well conversant with end-to-end freight/customs procedures and regulations in Kenya.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, distribution and procurement/ purchasing processes.
- Must be currently residing and legally authorized to work in Kenya.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Jotun Kenya is looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to collaborate with the Sales Manager in driving the promotion and sales of our Floor Coating products to both new and existing customers.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and maintain strong customer relationships by leveraging on Jotun's sales tools and techniques to meet budgeted sales KPIs, with the ultimate goal of enhancing Jotun's market share and profitability in Kenya.
This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya and reports to the Sales Manager- Marine and Protective Coatings.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets by managing relationships with customers and strongly pursuing profitable growth opportunities.
- To support and develop customer account plans for all assigned customers by identifying the relevant customer needs, prioritizing initiatives and company resources to meet customers' needs, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain close contact with key clients and project owners through regular visits and seminars/presentations to keep them informed of Jotun's new and existing products, systems, and solutions.
- Monitor the progress of projects, deliveries, or accounts closely with customers and contractors, swiftly resolving problems and responding to technical and commercial queries as well as inspecting painting progress to ensure project completion on the agreed time and to obtain optimum coating performance.
- Promote our flooring products, services, and solutions to owners, consultants and other stakeholders through regular visits, product presentations, and follow-ups to recommend and ensure Jotun is specified for the projects.
- Monitor activities trends, new opportunities, and competitors in the market to maintain an accurate and up-to-date project opportunity database.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to win new business and increase sales turnover and profitability with existing customers.
- Support the Jotun team in securing orders for larger projects by effective collaboration as appropriate.

Education and Experience Qualifications:
- At a minimum, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration/ Commerce or other related fields (master's degree would be an added advantage)

- Demonstrated skills and experience in key account management.
- Well conversant with field/projects management.
- Strong organizational and team leadership abilities.
