About The Role
As the Sales Manager – FWA markets for all mass market and general sales distributors you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the sales team consistently meets and exceeds targets. You will be responsible for managing Distributors and indirectly external Sales Teams, handling sales process and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve Haleon business objectives.
Role Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Execution and Activity Control:
- Manage distributor relationships for all the newly appointed mass market (largely OHC) distributors in French West Africa
- Shape and execute execution plan.
- Develop and implement a robust channel strategy (Modern trade and general trade).
- Take ownership of the sales targets, consistently develop accurate sales forecasts, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Results-Driven Performance:
- Successfully deliver ambitious sales targets across multiple channels
- Meet operational KPIs by excelling in forecasting accuracy, distribution and in-trade execution.
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports, accompanied by actionable plans to drive target achievement.
Employee & Customer Structure Management:
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Trade/Customer Marketing, NRM & SFE to prioritize consumption generation.
- Proficiency in managing partners across different channels, including their selection and performance evaluation.
- Oversee the strategic account programs and trade spend.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of managerial experience, with a strong track record of successfully leading FMCG/FMCH sales teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying FMCG/FMCH-focused commercial and channel strategies.
- Expertise in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for incremental FMCG revenue within existing and new accounts.
- Fluent English languages skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and foster teamwork.
- Availability to travel within designated Country.
- Takes accountability for delivering results; pragmatically turns data into action.

About The Role
- To initiate, plan and achieve Haleon Consumer Healthcare's ambition of becoming one of the most innovative, best performing and trusted Consumer Healthcare Companies in South and Southern Africa
- Deliver strategic account management solutions and profitable growth in accordance with Haleon's business plan and sales targets
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver sales plan for organized trade in Kenya.
- Develop and implementation of mutually agreed annual Customer Joint Business Plans within Kenya
- Take leadership in delivering JBPs and excellent account planning for top Modern Trade customers in rest of Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Build a roadmap for success in Institutional sales business in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Grow our brands ahead of the categories, and win Market share.
- Develop strong customer relations within the identified channels to maximise business opportunities and grow the business
- Develop strong category growth fundamentals as bedrock of customer story telling and value creation.
- Effectively manage the Account P&L for maximum efficiency and effectiveness, disciplined G2N management and ROI management of all promotional activity
Key actions
- Effective use of the field sales team to ensure reach and share of voice in the marketplace with customers and in-store
- Monitor and analyse sales performance through market share data
- Generate action plans to correct areas of weakness and capitalise on areas of opportunity
- Drive external focus including regular field visits across customer, consumer, shopper and expert
- Track G2N ratios to ensure we are in line with our plan, unlock gross margin via Net Revenue Management activities
- Role model customer management for all other SSA markets.
- Use all available data to maximise sales within each area
- Ensure clear accounting between customers and Haleon through proper claim management
- Communicate effectively with senior management, peers, marketing and other departments
- Use our values and expectations to drive actions and decisions, role model values and expectations
Qualifications And Skills Required
- A university degree
- 10 years Customer management/ Sales management/ Customer marketing experience

About The Role
- The Trade Spend Executive (Project Trainee) will support controlling of trade spend budgeting, claims approval process, pricing execution, management monitoring of controls
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all Gross-to-Net (G2N) budgeting is pre-approved and properly supported
- Support review of all customer claims on company portal
- Maintain claims tracker and always ensure completeness and accuracy
- Prepare and review discounts & various trade activities for setup in company systems and coordinate with 3rd party order-to-cash service provider
- Prepare monthly financial reporting of trade spend accruals and coordinate for timely and accurate submission
- Own pricing process; execution of price structures, system setup, validation and reviews
- Support commercial Hygiene process, internal controls and other compliance programs by championing management monitoring
Required
Qualifications and skills
- A university degree in Accounting & Finance is required
- Relevant certification/accreditations in Finance field e.g CPA, ACCA, CFA, CIFA are a plus
- Written & verbal French and English languages fluency is a must
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation and MS office skills

About The Role
- The Trade Spend Manager is responsible for ensuring that the budget is produced timely and controlled throughout the financial cycle.
- This includes overseeing internal controls compliance, budget tracking & analysis, risk escalation and management reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs the monthly trade spend overview to accrual reconciliation and drives reporting across the organization
- Owns budget reviews and analysis by customer, consolidation at a cluster level
- Delivers management reporting on budget status, risks and opportunities
- Owns trade spend management process across system, governance and reporting
- Keeps track of trade spend accruals, claims received and processed as actuals and conducts monthly audits of system entries against the governance protocols
- Ensures training of related internal and external teams on the process, adherence to standard operating procedures applicable
- Owns price setup and maintenance process
Overseas and governs the trade spend management system
Super-user and local administrator for the system
- Local liaison to regional system admin teams for trouble shooting
- Master data maintenance for seamless running of the platform
- Annual budget maintenance – annual agreements, trade terms, fixed & variable spend allocations for all Cluster/Customer/Activity/Brand combinations
Required
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Business Administration
- Relevant certification/accreditations in Finance field e.g CPA, ACCA, CFA, CIFA are a plus
- Minimum 5 years in trade marketing, finance or sales function
- Written & verbal fluency in French and English is a plus
- Experience in trade spend management
- Ability to think analytically
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Experience in FMCG/Consumer Healthcare environment, working across complex organizational structures
