LIFE INSURANCE SALES SPECIALIST – THIKA BRANCH
(A) - COMPANY DESCRIPTION
A leading insurer in East Africa with a strong focus on providing quality insurance services across the region is looking for talented and driven members to join their team.
(B) - ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time on-site role for a
Life Insurance Sales Specialist
, based in Thika Town. The successful applicant will be responsible for sourcing for Clients, scheduling meetings for Needs Analysis and Presentation, Selling Life insurance products and meeting weekly Sales Targets. The role also involves after sales service, resales, obtaining Referrals and providing expert advice on Life insurance products and services.
(C) - QUALIFICATIONS
· Have a current 2025 IRA License.
· Have a Certificate of Proficiency (COP), or Diploma in Insurance (Dip Ins.), or Executive Certificate of Proficiency (ECOP) or other relevant coursework from the College of insurance e.g. CCI, CII, or ACII
· Over 1 Year experience in Life Insurance Sales at a Life insurance company in Kenya
· Experience in Prospecting/ Looking for New Clients via various methods including obtaining Referrals, Fact Finding/Needs Analysis, Presentation, and Sales Onboarding skills.
· Ability to work independently and also as part of the team to meet Sales & income Targets
· Good Work Ethics, Sales Discipline and proven ability to deliver Sales Results weekly.
(D) - MONTHLY INCOME/REMUNERATION
This is a
fully Commission Basis Opportunity (NO RETAINERS
), performance based, as per the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) of Kenya guidelines, i.e.
a percentage of all the Sales you submit within the month, plus
the Monthly commission income from the Life Insurance Sales done in previous Months.

(E) - WORK AREA & OFFICE LOCATION
Successful applicants should be staying in or around THIKA and or able to commute to and work daily from our THIKA TOWN Branch office.
