Digital Marketer (Freelancer)
to strengthen our brand presence and online engagement. The ideal candidate is creative, data-driven, and experienced in social media marketing and SEO strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage engaging content for digital channels, including social media, websites, blogs, email campaigns, and digital ads.
- Develop and implement content schedules and strategies to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Plan and execute SEO/SEM strategies to boost organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
- Build and manage social media strategies to grow brand visibility and engagement.
- Monitor social media platforms, respond to queries, and manage paid ad campaigns.
- Plan, execute, and analyze email marketing campaigns to generate leads and conversions.
- Use analytics tools to track performance, evaluate marketing initiatives, and provide actionable insights.
- Optimize digital advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and social media.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing activities with business goals.
- Ensure brand consistency and continuously refine strategies to maximize ROI.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in digital marketing with a focus on
social media
and
SEO
. - Strong understanding of social media platforms and content best practices.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar).
- Excellent content creation and copywriting skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret metrics and optimize campaigns.
- Experience working with regional audiences in East and/or West Africa is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
