JOB OVERVIEW.

The job holder Will be expected to;

  • carryout repairs of items brought to the workshop, communicate to the clients and manage workshop processes.
  • Prepare and facilitate all solar installations, service contracts, call outs and trouble shooting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Assist the team in designing of systems from main items to wiring diagrams/pictorials for presentation or any other purpose.
  • Receive and record items brought into the workshop for repair and have an up-to-date report on their status.
  • Diagnose faulty items brought to the workshop to find the root cause of failure, write a report and share with the client and concerned persons.
  • Ensure all items brought to the workshop are repaired/returns to clients as per the findings and agreement with the client.
  • Process and arrange proper return/replacement of defective item on warranty as per the company policy.
  • Monitors repair parts usage to determine if current stock levels are adequate for maintaining repairs schedule and submits monthly requirement to procurement for action.
  • Manage and plan for all service contracts. Ensure clients are informed of the visit 3 days in advance. Ensure follow up of expired contracts
  • Open jobs in CRM for every solar installation while ensuring jobs are closed as and when they are concluded
  • Prepare for all installations, site surveys and call outs by properly coordinating and allocating resources such us technicians and vehicles. Ensure preparations are done a day or 2 before actual installation dates to allow for early departure of the team to site.
  • Prepare and send site survey, hand over, service contract and troubleshooting reports to the clients digitally via email. Ensure there is constant commination with the clients in case of any changes in timings etc.
  • Ensure installation materials are always available in our stores
  • Prepare and request for technicians' payments via petty cash and via sending directly to payables in Nairobi. Ensure all invoices are sent and posted on the system on time and correctly
  • Manage day to day interactions with clients either directly or indirectly through receiving both internal and external calls, mail and walk in clients in the technical department.
  • Invoicing and requisition of items from stores.
  • Monitor all service calls out and ensure clients are billed for all call outs as per laid down policy.
  • Research, test and write report for all new items brought for testing.
  • Enforce workshop kaizen and the 6s by ensuring that only the required items are in the work shop and all the rest are in their rightful place.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly stock take of solar items
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Energy Engineering or related technical field.
  • Basic Plumbing & Electrical Certificates will be an added advantage
  • Hands-on Installation works in Solar Water Heating, PV & Power Back-up systems
  • At least 3 years technical experience in the solar industry.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment in a small team and enjoy multi-tasking and working under pressure to achieve deadlines.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to project a positive image for him/ herself and the company.
  • Analytical Skills
  • Quick learner, capable of grasping the structure & intricacies of the energy business & markets.
  • Self-motivated with persuasive, enthusiastic and client-centric focus.

JOB OVERVIEW.

The Regional Battery Sales Representative will drive battery sales growth by onboarding new and churned dealers, expanding into untapped markets, and gathering actionable market intelligence. This role is critical to strengthening our dealer network, increasing market share, and ensuring our products remain top-of-mind across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Dealer Onboarding & Relationship Management

  • Identify, qualify, and onboard new dealers; re-engage churned dealers to restore business relationships.
  • Conduct regular visits to dealer locations to ensure product visibility, branding, and optimal placement.
  • Educate dealers on product features, applications, and warranty processes.
  • Participate in dealers' training, battery clinics and mechanics events.

Market Expansion & Intelligence

  • Explore and develop new sales opportunities in untapped markets within the assigned region.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs.
  • Collect and report on market intelligence to inform sales strategies and product positioning.

Sales Growth & Target Achievement

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual targets of number of active new customers brought on board.

Customer Service & Brand Representation

  • Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction at all dealer touchpoints.

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, market insights, and competitor analysis to management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in automotive batteries, energy solutions, or FMCG.
  • Proven track record of dealer onboarding and market development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Job Overview:

The Sales Analyst and Demand Planner position analyzes sales data, develops forecasts, and collaborates with various teams to optimize inventory and sales strategies. They will use data analysis and forecasting techniques to predict product demand, provide statistical reporting activities associated with customers and products; and ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer needs while minimizing excess inventory.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Planning:

  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models based on actual historical trends and future business plans, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Maintain forecast models for all branches, incorporating business intelligence and forecast Information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer replenishment analysis, and other sources (i.e. Nielsen or other syndicated consumer data.
  • Using forecasting models and software to predict future demand at various levels of aggregation.
  • Provide procurement with the aligned demand forecast and net inventory replenishment requirements to inform inventory sourcing on a monthly basis.
  • Collaborating with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to refine forecasts and align on strategies.

Sales Analysis:

  • Analyzing sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitoring sales performance against targets and identifying areas needing attention.
  • Tracking sales metrics and creating dashboards to visualize performance.
  • Prepares and reports on sales performance to the management.

Inventory Management:

  • Working with supply chain to ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.
  • Developing inventory strategies for new products, existing items, and product phase-outs.
  • Statistically determine and maintain ideal stock levels for all SKUs in all branches on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide weekly reports to nominated managers on inventory levels, sales trend by product type and sales persons to support marketing initiatives
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Schedule and coordinate cross-functional sales & operations planning meetings to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
  • Coordinate and communicating demand forecasts and insights to relevant stakeholders.

Process Improvement:

  • Identifying opportunities to improve the demand planning process and forecasting accuracy.
  • Refining systems and methods to better anticipate customer needs and improve overall efficiency.

Skills, Experience & Education

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or any relevant discipline. Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or manufacturing environment.
  • Good analytical skills with proficiency in the use of Excel, BI tools and PowerPoint

ROLE OVERVIEW,

The After Sales Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing high-level technical support to customers, partners, and internal teams for Chloride Exide's energy storage solutions. This role ensures that post-installation performance, troubleshooting, and customer satisfaction are handled efficiently and professionally.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting.

  • Provide timely and effective technical support for battery energy storage systems (BESS), hybrid inverters, BMS, and related components.
  • Diagnose and resolve system faults, performance issues, and hardware failures.
  • Conduct field visits or remote diagnostics to support clients and installation partners.
  • Customer Support & Relationship Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for all after-sales technical queries.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem resolution.
  • Provide product guidance and operational training to customers and technicians.

Product & System Management.

  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to relay customer feedback and identify product improvements.
  • Assist in the commissioning, configuration, and monitoring of installed systems.
  • Maintain accurate service records, warranty claims, and feedback documentation.

Training & Documentation.

  • Deliver technical training sessions to field technicians, service partners, and clients.
